You find beauty in the strangest places

I started chatting with a guy in my finance class who's also from Singapore. It made my day. I mentioned I was from Singapore and RGS, he mentioned his sister and ex-gf had gone to RGS, we did the necessary mental gyrations to find out exactly how we knew each other and then we got down to the business of talking. He's graduating this year and has a fulltime job lined up in HK with one of the big i-banks. What was really nice of him was that he sat down and talked to me about the recruitment process and all its ins and outs. At the end of it he even offered to give a quick check through my resume and coverletter.

All of this was just because I'm from Singapore too. It's heartening to know Singapore has such good people. Thank you J.
