FRIDAY ALONE

I would just like to inform a certain Ms. Magandarn that today is Friday and I will be staying HOME, ALONE, ON A FRIDAY, and as such, going to Bourbon and partying it up with MY Anthony would be in very, very, VERY poor taste indeed. :P

Jess passed me her (mild, don't worry guys) eye infection this morning and now my left eye is bloated up and I look like the digested lunch of an unhappy whale. Of course this had to be the day I took my ID card photo for my work...My body always has equisite timing. So, to distract attention from the roiling boiling orb that is my eye I wore my Stella skirt and to put it in Stephy's words, "I loooooove it!"

My friends have all asked me out this weekend and I have refused them one by one because I have to study. I can't wait 'till I do my internship at Goldman Sachs and have to work 10 hour days like my friend did this summer eh. I'm beginning to feel like I'm in the wrong industry (though the lure of becoming a partner of a multimillion dollar company is great) and am beginning to wonder what I really want to work in. Business is a big field and I'm not sure which part I like best. So I signed up for the McGill Mentor program (they match you up with graduate McGillians who mentor you) and I selected the strategic analyst of Bombardier (Canadian version of Boeing, based in Montreal) who will hopefully not be French, and the VP of Alamco (something like that) a marketing or strategic consulting firm, I forgot I was doing it so late at night last night. Either one will be a good contact (yay!) and offer me some good advice on their fields. Mmm wonder if I can convince them to bring me to work? Thinking about it though, after hanging around Gwen all summer, I really like the idea of being an entrepreneur. I like being in charge.
